Good Morning!
It looks like a beautiful day outside! For most of us that means maybe a day at the park, a nice run on the track or through the town, or maybe just a day out in the yard. However, in Joplin, it means yet another day at work rebuilding. When we go to Joplin in June we will be working with the Hearts and Hammers organization. Their mission is to simply help their neighbors who developed unmet needs caused by a tragedy relating to unnatural causes.
This mission has great Christian tones to it, as we are called by Jesus Christ to love our neighbors as ourselves. Let us remember this calling as we work in our own community and get ready to travel to Joplin this summer.
